The overall index of cyber literacy of Russian residents was 48.2 points out of 100 possible. As part of the study of the issue, experts tested the knowledge of Russians about current cyber threats and ways to protect against them.
If we talk directly about testing, it included the following topics:
antivirus protection, safe use of the Internet, social engineering, telephone and Internet fraud, personal data security, safe use of Wi-Fi, etc.
The highest level of cyber literacy was found among Russians aged 25 to 34 years. But the older the interviewee got, the lower the index value became.
